Fishing in Fisch has four basic steps: cast, wait for a bite, control the catch bar, and keep the fish inside the bar until the progress meter fills.

Ignore progression routes until this loop feels comfortable. Your first goal is simply to complete a catch consistently.

Step 1: Cast and Wait for a Bite

Hold your fishing input to cast. After casting, wait for a bite.

Step 2: Control the Fishing Bar

When a fish bites, control the catch bar. Keep controlling it until the progress bar fills; that completes the basic fishing loop.
